Danette Anderson is the current Mrs. Virginia, America 2014. She has been married to Adam for 14 years! She is a fitness lover herself, and a mom to 4 little boys. She is the owner, photographer editor of EnSepia Photography. Her most recent work involves taking the head shots for the top .01% of Beachbody’s Elite coaches. She is very excited to represent her state at Mrs. America in August.

Brandy Pope is a former Mrs. Virginia America 2012, as well as, a fun, loving and charismatic person! I have been married to my husband Mark for 15 years. We have three daughters ages 13, 10, and 6. I’m very involved in my church. I worked as a youth ministry leader for 7 years, as well as being a young adult ministry leader for 6 years. Being able to shape and mold the young people of my community has brought me abundant joy.

My passion for health and fitness has also allowed me to be a mentor to others regarding healthy living. Being a Beachbody coach has given me the perfect platform to help people reach their health and fitness potential! Losing my father at the age of 9 to drinking and driving has created a strong conviction within me. I want to help bring about changes that will prevent others from experiencing such tragedy. Partnering with organizations such as MADD (Mothers against Drunk Driving) was just the beginning of a lifelong effort to see resolution to this issue. I have now created my very own organization, B-YOND THE BUZZ ( www.b-yondthebuzz.org), to help provide funds for children indirectly affected by substance abuse. I want to use my platform to be the voice for those children that can’t be heard.

In my free time I enjoy singing, dancing, modeling, working out and even watching football! Above all, being able to spend quality time with my husband and children is most important to me.

Michele Stanley a University of Richmond grad, has worked in the legal industry for 19 years but is interested in the fitness and nutrition industry for the last 3 years. She enjoys working with Zumba and Boxing instructors towards reaching fitness goals. She is a Foodie, sports enthusiast, and enjoys a good debate.

Fernando Avellanet is a group fitness manager for American Family Fitness. He teaches Yoga and Body Pump. He has studied Architecture at the University of Puerto Rico and holds a Masters degree. He resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Katlyn Huffmon was an honor roll student all through high school. She played varsity basketball and softball while in school. She was in Beta and National honor society clubs. She will be attending ECPI for Surgical Tech in the Fall.
